Grow Your Business with the Help of Google Authorship

Hello Friends,I have just started to write blogs only on SEO,Google, web analysis,Google Updates i hope this will help you a lot to promote your website and grow your business.

Here, i come with talk about google authorship as we know how it is important to improve keywords rank and to generate traffic on your website,i am just sharing how can we link our blog or website to our google plus profile please read it carefully and follow all steps if you want to be visible on the web.

First of all Please set up Google Plus profile. In order to comply with Google’s rules, you also need to ensure that your profile has accurate information such as your name, what you do, and so on. One other important part is to add your profile picture. It needs to be a headshot and avoid using photos of you partying hard, your cute pets, or full body pictures as the main profile picture.

After creating Google plus profile please follow these following steps:

Step 1: Verify Your Email Address
  1. Go to plus.google.com/authorship.
  2. Insert the email address that’s on the same domain as your content.
  3. Verify the link in the email you get from Google and you are all set!
Step 2: Link Directly from Your Content Page
  1. Go to the main Google Plus page.
  2. Click on the Profile tab in the left navigation.
  3. Click on the About tab under your profile picture.
  4. Scroll down until you see a Links section and then click on the edit link.
  5. You will see a lightbox open up and all you need to do is add the main URL of the blog or website where your content lives. Make sure to add this under the Contributor to section and not Links.
Note: You can add many different blog and website URLs here.
  6. Once you save that, you will need to add a link on your article that links to your Google Plus profile.
  7. In your content, preferably in the author bio section, link your name to your Google Plus profile and add ?rel=author to the end of the URL string.
For example, my Google Plus URL is
    https://plus.google.com/u/0/104995664937214200329/about,
    so I would use
https://plus.google.com/u/0/104995664937214200329/about?rel=author as the URL for authorship.
When we become an authority on the web, anything associated with us will be more legitimate. The more quality content we publish online, the more likely we are to be ranked high by Google and considered an authority in our subject area.
